One of our favourite things about the annual Met Gala is the way that the attendees go above and beyond with their fashion choices; this is not an arena where it's acceptable to play it safe (case in point - Lady Gaga's four-outfit strip tease).
One of the most show-stopping moments at the 2019 Met Gala came courtesy of Zendaya, who arrived dressed as Cinderella. Her Tommy Hilfiger gown featured a powder blue tulle overlay, corseted bodice and exaggerated sleeves, as with the beloved Disney original. The singer also wore her hair in a similar style, complete with blue headband and simple black choker.
But, elegant dress aside, Zendaya gave us some red carpet magic when she walked the red carpet with her stylist Law Roach, who was dressed as the Fairy Godmother. As Roach waved a magic 'wand', which had smoke streaming out of it, Zendaya's gown began to twinkle in front of the cameras and slowly light up from the bottom.

Several seconds later and her ball gown was illuminated from top to toe.

As she departed the red carpet, she left behind a single glass slipper.
