Twilight icon Robert Pattinson excels in a number of artistic fields, which now includes architecture. The movie star’s latest ‘conversation piece’ for his residence in London was designed in collaboration with famous designer Nicole Gordon. He’s opened up over his home, what’s in it and the decisions behind it, the conversation creeped into Robert Pattinson’s days as a budding actor. While talking about his cozy spot to ‘nestle and read’ in his home, the celebrity looks back at a time when his ‘worst bed’ was not even a real piece of furniture.

Once named among the 100 most influential people in the world, Robert Pattinson has made his mark as one of the best British actors of his generation.
But the Hollywood heartthrob had his fair share of struggles in life which included him sleeping on a piece of furniture that was multi-purposed as a couch, bed, and dining table.
Speaking about couches, Robert shared: “My least favorite could also be my most favorite.
“There was a time when the only piece of furniture I had for about six months was an inflatable boat that would double as my couch, bed, and dining table. I loved it very much, but it caused a lot of back problems.”
Robert Pattinson’s feared he’d never break into Hollywood
Robert Pattinson lived the best and the worst of his career, even after getting his breakthrough role. The actor has been candid about the struggles he faced throughout his career before fame. There were times, even after Twilight, when he feared he would be a ‘failure’ and unemployed for months on end.
In a recent interview, Robert confessed: “I’m constantly thinking that you’re just going to spend the vast majority of your life unemployed and desperate and kind of feeling like you’re a total failure.”
He adds, “I think that’s just what life is.”
Being unemployed is not an easy feeling even for accomplished actors.
The Batman star added: “I feel like you’re specifically at a maximum most of the time you’re doing a job, and you’re employed for three months. That’s the most stressful thing in the world.”
