Iris Gibney, 42, appeared in a Pennsylvania court Tuesday and told the judge she made a 'horrible decision' when cops caught her having sex with a high school soccer player.

The Victoria's Secret store employee from Pottstown, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty to having sex with a 17-year-old at a park on November 15.

Gibney told the judge: 'I made a horrible decision. I have been in therapy since it happened.'

According to police, Gibney met the boy at a football game while volunteering as a cheer mom at her older daughter's school. 

The teenager, who has not been named gave a detailed account of how they met when the two were picked up at around 10:30pm in November in a parked truck in Hollenbach Park.

Police saw two cars in the lower parking lot of Hollenbach Park after the park was closed, according to a criminal complaint.

Then when police approached the vehicles they saw two people in the back of a Mitsubishi 'engaged in physical activity,' The Delaware County Daily Times reports.

When police asked the teenager if the female was his girlfriend he said he 'met her at his high school football game.'

The two met at a Pottsgrove High School football game in October. They began talking over Twitter and she began sexting him and sending nude images to his cell phone.  

The teenager told police that he 'wasn't going to lie' and admitted that he and Gibney were having sex.

After speaking to Gibney the officer 'realized she was much older than the juvenile.'

Gibney told the officer who caught her and the teen, 'I've never been in trouble before. I can't believe I did this. I have three children of my own — I am so, so sorry.'

Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden told The Delaware County Daily Times: 'She was an adult. She should have known better.'

Gibney has now pleaded guilty to disseminating obscene or sexual materials and corruption of a minor.

She will now face punishment of five years probation, 100 hours of community service and sex, drug and alcohol treatment. She was also ordered to avoid contact with the teenager or his family.

'I can tell you that Ms. Gibney is devastated by her conduct in this case,' defense attorney Fortunato Perri told CBS Philly.  

'It's been extremely difficult for her family. She's been a loving and devoted mother and wife.'

'She's extremely remorseful for her conduct. It's had a devastating effect on her family, her children,' Fortunato Perri told NBC Philadelphia.

Her husband meanwhile has said he's 'upset, hurt and just trying to keep his family together.' 

However, her daughter previously threw her support behind her embattled mom who she described as 'her best friend' on her Instagram account in December.
